www.momes.net
This
is probably the best website for children at the moment.
They can establish links and exchange pictures/drawings etc. with
their francophone/
francophile counterparts. You will also be able to find and play
some French songs, nursery rhymes, discover new
stories ( for all levels, including 3 year olds ) etc. The links
to other sites on the internet are innumerable,
which is good when you are trying to work with authentic and updated
documents.
www.frenchteachers.org
"The American Association of Teachers of French"
has great teaching resources data online. It is difficult to
find anything for young children, but is constantly updated and
always worth a visit.
www.france.diplomatie.gouv.fr
This is the officialsite of the French government.
Very useful if you want to get some historical, geographical, political, cultural betc. background on France. Also
available from this site are the addresses
of all the French teaching establishments around the world (Instituts,
Alliances,
Lycées Français etc.).
www.cndp.fr
Anything you want to know about French eduction policies,
new projects being implemented in French
schools or the state of teaching in France, is available on this
site.
www.yahoo.fr
"Yahoo France" can help you plan your next
holiday in France or have a shot at Pivot's notorious Dictée.
More seriously, it will allow you to read the French press ( including Le Monde de L'Education ) which is updated daily.
